Grace Team rider Kiyoshi Kaneda

Grace rider Kiyoshi gets a couple of good ones at Sakawa Rivermouth in Japan. I heard he was holding his own amongst other pros with names like John John, Dane, and Yadin . Grace Surf gave me these pics because he was riding a board that I shaped.  Thanks for all your support!

Yokohama Chinatown

With good friends Kazu and Kaoru Suzuki at a Chinese restaurant

Japan, its all about the food!

 Sushi! X 2!
 Okinawa Food
expensive restaurant food. Don't know what they are eating, I wasn't there.
Seth's favorite, curry, and Mia's favorite, ramen
Shabu shabu with cousins and grandma and grandpa
Okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza)- if you don't know what this is, you will have to try it!
Now you know  why you have to go to Japan.

Kamogawa Chiba Japan

Grace Surf's owner Taro Taniuchi & manager Kentaro checking the evening wave conditions.
 Looks rideable to me.

 Shaper Ofuchi taking measurements.
Laminator Hiro resin color work.

Disney 30th Anniversary

Bali Day 3 Back in the water.

Back in the water at Balangan.  Chieko's husband Todd and I rented some longboards to match the weak waves.
Waves started to show more form as the tide dropped. We were already on the beach drinking Bintangs.
 Seeing the potential.
 Common sight.  Hah hah!
Life is good. Oh yeah, did I mention no kids!  Everyone was commenting that this was our honeymoon.

Balinese Dancing at Tanah Lot Temple

 Major tourist attraction.
We couldn't follow the story, but it was very

Bali Day 2

Chieko and Yuka had a surf.  I was out of the water since my toe wouldn't stop bleeding after my accident.
There were some waves to be had.
Just like making your own plate lunch in Hawaii. 4K means 4,000 rupiah, take away two zeros and you get 40 cents.
I think my plate came out to less than $4.00.
Its all about mopeds and scooters.  There are no rules when it comes to getting around in Bali.  They were whizzing by every which way.

Deus ex Machina

I loved this place.  We had lunch here at the cafĂ©, but its also...
 an art gallery,
 custom bike shop,
 an outdoor venue for concerts,
and a shaping bay for visiting shapers.
