Eggplant Yummy

I love this show. Yuka says whats so special about it? We can't taste the cooking. What taste good to you may not taste good to me. She has a point there. But I still watch it. And even the reruns too.

When Kazu and Kaoru stayed with us, they made a dish so simple yet so amazing. They fried eggplant then added all kinds of liquid ingredients, sake, mirin, menma, shoyu, dashi (not the kind in your instant 25 cent saimin), sesame oil, etc. Looks like there is some ginger on there as well. It was awsome. It tasted even better the next day when all the juices soaked in and was served cold.
